QR codes that never expire

If a “free” QR code suddenly stops working after you print flyers, you probably used a dynamic code. Dynamic codes point to a company’s short link. When the free trial ends, that short link dies.

Static codes (what QRSnap makes) encode the real URL, WiFi string, or contact card inside the image. There is no middle server to shut down, so the code keeps working forever.

Use static codes for business cards, restaurant menus, product packaging, and posters. Use dynamic only when you truly need scan analytics or to change the destination later — and budget for a subscription.
